We started making HoneyPie Doggie Treats when our dog Spice became finicky about eating pre-manufactured treats that are available at most retail pet stores. So, we decided that we would make our own treats with fresh ingredients that contained NO PRESERVATIVES and only natural sugars from the ingredients we use.

These delectable treats are made with fresh apples, molasses, honey, cinnamon, ginger and cloves! 

We can custom-make treats for your dog using a variety of shapes and sizes such as bears, alligators, elephants, flamingos, bones, dog houses, fire hydrants, stars, trees and much, much more.  We also make special occasion treats for Easter, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. 

Pawtie Cakes, Cupcakes and Muffins

We know how much you like to celebrate your birthday so why not make your dog's birthday a special occasion as well!  We can make cakes, cupcakes or muffins for the celebration.  One of our most requested Pawtie Cakes is our HoneyPie Peanut Butter and Banana Cake!

Here is Bella, a Bichon Frise, enjoying her Banana and Carrot Cake made from fresh bananas, carrots and cinnamon.  Bella is a special-needs dog because she is allergic to lots of ingredients.  Bella loved her birthday cake so much that we now provide her with a supply of muffins that are made with ingredients to meet her specific needs.

We have a variety of cakes, cupcake and muffin recipes to fit your dogs special needs, such as gluten-free, soy free, or wheat free. 

Fresh, Home-Made Meals

Our dog Spice also presented us with challenges in her daily feedings.  She rejected most commercially made foods, both dry and wet.  So, we started researching the different foods available and found that many contain fillers, meat by-products and preservatives that can over time be toxic!  Wow, did that open our eyes to what we were feeding our dogs! 

In addition, our Golden Retriever, Honey, became severely overweight, reaching nearly 98 lbs.!  We were very concerned about her weight and our veterinarian recommended we give her Science Diet.  We did not see a significant weight loss within the first 4 months that she was on the new food so we decided that we needed to make a more permanent change to control her diet. 

We now make fresh, home-made cooked meals for our dogs that include ingredients such as:

• Chicken, fish, turkey, duck or beef
• Rice, sweet or white potatoes
• Vegetables such as carrots, green beans and peas
• Flaxseed, which contains essential Omega-3 vitamins
• Pet-tabs, a multi-vitamin created to supplement a dog's daily dose of essential vitamins

We use no additional sugars or seasonings when making the meals.  As a result of feeding our dogs a very balanced and healthy diet, they all have richer coats, more energy and healthy attitudes and Honey now weighs a much healthier 82 pounds!  Not to mention that one great side effect of feeding them a wholesome diet of fresh ingredients is that their poop and pee is less foul-smelling!  This was one of the biggest things we noticed with Miley after we adopted her and put her on our home-made dog food diet.  What a difference!
